Terms and Conditions

PREAMBLE

These general terms and conditions are agreed between WOWPlug and the Users who wish to charge their electric vehicles through the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, hereinafter referred to as the “USERS”. WOWPlug, Lda., hereinafter referred to as “WOWPlug”, is a company with its registered office at Avenida Infante D. Henrique, 333-H, Building 4, 5th Floor, Room 56, 1800-282 Lisbon, Portugal, VAT/Company No. 516 296 426, with the website address www.wowplug.com and email address suporte@wowplug.com.
The parties agree that the use of the WOWPlug App and the charging sessions carried out through the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations operated by WOWPlug shall be governed exclusively by the electric mobility regulations and by this agreement, to the exclusion of any conditions previously available at www.wowplug.com.

ARTICLE 1. SUBJECT MATTER

These general charging conditions are intended to provide and define all the information necessary for the User regarding the charging methods carried out at WOWPlug Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
These conditions govern all the steps necessary to carry out a charging session and guarantee its operation between the Contracting Parties.

ARTICLE 2. REGISTRATION

These conditions apply to all Users who carry out a charging session for their electric vehicles at WOWPlug Electric Vehicle Charging Stations or who use the technological means made available by WOWPlug as registered users. Registration takes place through the WOWPlug application, which is available free of charge on the App Store as well as on the Google Play Store (“WOWPlug App”). Registration in this application allows users a better experience as users of electric vehicle charging stations. We aim to offer more detailed assistance before and during the charging process, as well as support in the event of any problem during a charging session. In addition, we seek to inform the User of relevant information such as new features, the opening of new charging stations, etc.
By creating and using a WOWPlug account, the User agrees to the terms and conditions of use.
When the User registers through the WOWPlug App, such registration is free of charge and has no subscription associated with it. The purchase agreement is between the User and the Electricity Retailers for Electric Mobility (CEME).
WOWPlug may amend these terms and conditions unilaterally at any time. Any amendments to the terms and conditions shall apply and be deemed accepted by the registered user as of the date determined and communicated by WOWPlug, unless the registered user notifies WOWPlug in writing, within the prior notice period, of their refusal to accept such amended terms and conditions. In this case, the registered user may terminate the registration with immediate effect. If, as a registered user, you continue to use your WOWPlug account, we will assume that you agree to the changes.

ARTICLE 3. CHARGING

WOWPlug shall use its best efforts to provide a vehicle charging service without interruptions or failures. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the charging of electrical energy to your vehicle will always be successful and/or uninterrupted. Situations may arise in which charging is not possible: a charging session may be interrupted due to a technical problem, a problem caused by the vehicle (or its settings), a (general) power failure, or force majeure situations, among others. WOWPlug shall not compensate for any damage if, due to such circumstances, charging cannot be carried out at all or is carried out with interruptions or faults.

ARTICLE 4. PRICE

The prices charged by WOWPlug are indicated on the WOWPlug website, in the WOWPlug App, as well as on the screens of the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. WOWPlug may adjust prices without prior notice.

ARTICLE 5. COMPLAINTS

In the event of a dispute, the consumer may resort to Dispute Resolution through the Arbitration Centre (see the Online Store section entitled “Dispute Resolution”) and/or fill in the Complaints Book at WOWPlug’s premises.

ARTICLE 6. PRIVACY POLICY

Your data is processed in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Providing your data is optional, and the right of access, rectification, and deletion of any data directly concerning you is guaranteed by law, either in person or in writing, directly to the address set out in the Preamble. All requests must be made through the addresses and means identified in point 1 of this privacy policy.

Additionally, the data subject may always lodge any complaints they deem necessary with the competent authority for this purpose.
